Which Meal plan is best for my first or second year student?

This is one of the most commonly asked questions. This decision has a lot to do with an individual’s eating habits and lifestyle.  We have found that for students who prefer to eat several smaller meals during the day, the Unlimited Meal Plan is the best choice since your student will never run out of meals.  They will also have the flexibility to stop into the Dining Commons when they’d like only a snack or a cup of coffee.  The Value Meal Plan offers 224 meals per semester and is a good choice for students who would like to eat in the Dining Commons a couple of times a day or approximately 14 times per week.  The Value Plan is also good for students who go home often on weekends.  If a student runs low on meals, they can always upgrade to the Unlimited Meal Plan or purchase additional meals at the Meal Plan Office.

Can I upgrade my student’s meal plan anytime?

Yes, any meal plan can be upgraded by simply contacting the Meal Plan office at 413-545-1362.

If my student is on the Value Plan, are they allowed to eat just two meals daily?

No, they can eat 3 or 4 meals per day since our meal plans are block plans which means that there is a set number of meals for the semester with no daily limit.

How will I know you received my Gifts from Home order I placed online?

You will receive a confirmation email from us within 2 business days of placing your order.

How much time is needed to have a Gifts from Home order delivered?

One week is needed to process your gifts from home order.
