  • Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) www.ccfa.org This website was created with the purpose of curing and preventing Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research; and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support. The site is intended for patients and their families as well as health care professionals.
  • American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) http://www.acg.gi.org/  Purpose of the ACG is to advance the scientific study and medical practice of diseases of the GI tract, and to promote the highest standards in medical education. This site is intended for use by healthcare providers.
  • National Institute of Diabetes & Digestive & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) http://www.niddk.nih.gov The purpose of the NIDDK is to conduct and support research on many of the most serious diseases affecting public health. The Institute supports much of the clinical research on the diseases of internal medicine and related subspecialty fields as well as many basic science disciplines. The “Health Information” part of the site can be very helpful: It includes easy-to-follow information on diabetes, Celiac Sprue and Crohn’s disease.
